You’ll work closely with the engineering, product and marketing teams to ensure that our tools are always performing at their very best. You’ll have a good memory and be able to visually understand complex data structures.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop data pipelines, data ingestion, and ETL processes that are scalable, repeatable, and secure
- Define company assets (data models), pyspark jobs to populate data models
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management
- Comfortable working in an iterative process with close collaboration between product/engineering/frontend on multiple technologies
- Ensure accurate, scalable and performant systems via ongoing optimization of our data and data pipelines
- Managing complex infrastructure and contributing to the product life-cycle and feature development
- Taking care of software provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment
Requirements
- At least two years of experience with Python, PHP and Data visualization/exploration tools. Elixir or R highly also desirable
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and data modelling
- Highly skilled - including practical use - in Big Data technologies (Apache Hadoop, Pig, Spark, PySpark, Spark)
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures and data modelling
- Experience with document storage systems like SQL / Couchbase / MongoDB
- Experience processing data asynchronously (distributed and parallel processing)
- Great written communication and interpersonal skills -- able to build rapport with a wide array of people using virtual communication channels
- High responsiveness to internal queries, prioritisation of issues and escalation to other members of the team where necessary

Key Responsibilities
- Key contributor on the development of a promising new GameAnalytics product
- Working closely with product development, engineering and frontend teams to rapidly develop our product, across several different technologies (PHP & JS focus)
- Participate in feature development and create tasks/tickets in Jira/Trello, as well as fully testing and reviewing all updates in a TDD environment
- Ensure a bug-free experience for our customers via extensive testing; i.e. unit tests to ensure ongoing quality, bug-free code

Requirements
- 7+ years experience in PHP software development at a major company
- Knowledge of MySQL and other database technologies
- Experience processing data asynchronously (distributed and parallel processing)
- Proficient working with classes (encapsulation, abstraction, polymorphism, traits, etc)
- Solid understanding of both TDD and Automated Testing
- Understanding of design patterns and implementation of frameworks
- Knowledgeable about (and motivated to follow) clean code paradigms

We’re looking for a skilled Data Scientist to help us create prediction models for the games industry, as well as improve the accuracy and scale of our data by implementing new ML, AI and NLP approaches and techniques. You’ll work collaboratively with our expanding data, engineering, and product teams to ensure that we deliver market-leading insights and benchmarks, building upon our unique first-party dataset. Key responsibilities
- Working on end-to-end data science projects, from requirements gathering to data discovery, modelling, validation, deployment, and result communication
- Building predictive models and machine-learning algorithms using many different modelling algorithms or using different training data sets
- Present information using data visualization techniques
- Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
- Undertake collection, preprocessing and analysis of structured and unstructured data
- Identify valuable data sources, and work with engineering teams to automate collection processes

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst, ideally at a SaaS company
- You understand the workflow and life cycle of machine learning and are familiar with platforms for end-to-end production ML pipelines (e.g. TFX, MLFlow, Sagemaker)
- Knowledge of SQL and Python (in particular - common data science toolkits like Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, SciPy, TensorFlow, Keras); familiarity with R, PHP, Scala, Java or C++ is an asset
- Experience in data mining and working with complex data pipelines and ML in a production environment (you can apply DevOps principles to big data projects)
- Experience using NoSQL databases; familiarity with Couchbase preferred
- Deep understanding of AI and Machine Learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Random Forests, etc.
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of people from different areas and to effectively transfer knowledge to other team members

As part of the team, you’ll be working on VentureXP - our greenfields project for assessing studio funding in a data orientated approach. About the team
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior PHP Developer with experience building SaaS web applications. This is a great position for someone looking to take a leading role in the development of a promising new GameAnalytics product. GameAnalytics is one of the world’s most popular analytics tools, with a network of 140,000 integrated games that are played by more than 1.7 billion people each month (more than ⅓ of mobile gamers).
As part of the wider team, you’ll work closely and collaboratively with key business stakeholders, reporting directly to the business unit commercial and engineering leads. We’re looking for a quick learner with proven experience building large scale PHP systems. Also, a geek at heart who loves to play around with the latest technologies and games.
You’ll work closely with the engineering, product and marketing teams to ensure that our tools are always performing at their very best. You’ll have a good memory and an analytical mind and you’ll apply these smarts to improve the overall development process with automated unit tests and TDD.
Key responsibilities
- Key contributor on the development of a promising new GameAnalytics product
- Working closely with product development, engineering and frontend teams to rapidly develop our product, across several different technologies (PHP & JS focus)
- Participate in feature development and create tasks/tickets in Jira/Trello, as well as fully testing and reviewing all updates in a TDD environment
- Ensure a bug-free experience for our customers via extensive testing; i.e. unit tests to ensure ongoing quality, bug-free code
- High responsiveness to internal queries, prioritisation of issues and escalation to other members of the team where necessary
- Helping to coordinate frequent product releases without jeopardizing system stability
- Ensure that our internal documentation is clear, comprehensive and well-maintained
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in PHP software development at a major company
- Knowledge of MySQL and other database technologies
- Experience processing data asynchronously (distributed and parallel processing)
- Proficient working with classes (encapsulation, abstraction, polymorphism, traits, etc)
- Solid understanding of both TDD and Automated Testing
- Understanding of design patterns and implementation of frameworks
- Knowledgeable about (and motivated to follow) clean code paradigms
- Good understanding of gaming in general and mobile gaming in particular
- Great written communication and interpersonal skills -- able to build rapport with a wide array of people using virtual communication channels
- Excellent oral and verbal skills in English
Desirable
- Previous experience building SaaS applications and working with AWS
- Experience working with non-relational databases (NoSQL, Couchbase, etc)
- Some level of experience with frontend development (Javascript, HTML, CSS, etc)
- A games industry background (or real passion for games) is a big bonus!

About the SDK Team
Gameanalytics’ SDK team develops and maintains SDK libraries for the most popular game development frameworks. Our list of 20 SDKs includes support for iOS, Android, Unity, Unreal Engine, Javascript, C++ and Roblox, among others. On top of that the team is responsible for the development of our Android and iOS mobile applications.
What we are looking for?
As a member of the SDK team, you will be helping maintain and develop the existing SDKs and create new ones; and help us continuously improve our iOS and Android mobile applications. You will be working with a number of different technologies and constantly learning new ones, have a good understanding of the mobile ecosystem, making sure our SDKs are optimised for performance and provide good customer support by collaborating with our technical support team.

You will join our API development team, and preferably working closely with them on our Copenhagen office. Together you’ll be working on our most vital API handling authentication/authorisation and the business logic for all our users, studios & games.
