As the Product Manager of our Merchant products, you will be responsible for building products that enable restaurant staff of all levels and functions to engage more effectively with the technology that powers their world. Our premier restaurant product, Menu Management (MMS), is a powerful digital menu tool that integrates with the industry leading marketplaces. You will be responsible for evolving MMS into a suite of tools and services that offer restaurants choice, insight, and fine grained control over how their brands engage with the digital ecosystem upon which their success depends. You will work closely with customers ranging from 5 to 1000+ locations, ensuring our restaurant products provide simple and positive experiences for both enterprise employees as well as line-level managers inside of stores. You will work closely with a dedicated engineering team and a world class support team that has deep relationships with some of the biggest name brands in the industry.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Being responsible for evolving, expanding, and bringing to market new products built for restaurant operators. The Omnivore platform is an ecosystem of hundreds of apps and thousands of restaurants. You will be working to open that world of possibility directly to more restaurants
- Having a deep focus on understanding our customers and personalizing their experience. Spending time learning how both the restaurant floor and corporate structures run to provide a seamless experience for all levels of user
- Working closely with our marketing team to establish and maintain a meaningful cadence of updates to our restaurant partners
- Building relationships with our most important marketplace partners, such as the major delivery companies, to ensure tight integrations that maximize the value of our platform
- Collaborating with other leaders on all matters that impact the Products, including resourcing and building a broader product vision
- Participating in all aspects of the development lifecycle, from definition through deployment and support. We learn by eating our own dogfood
- Creating compelling UX and UI elements for new and updated flows and features. Iterating quickly on these experiences in collaboration with the development team
- Defining your Product story and delivering to internal stakeholders while creating alignment with the other cross-functional partners to build software that’s useful, useable, efficient to operate, and addresses real customer pain points
- Driving revenue growth by cultivating products so compelling that customers feel like they can't live without them
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven product management experience as a Product Manager in a fast moving technology company, ideally in the restaurant technology space
- An in-depth understanding of SaaS and API Platform products. Our business is built on interconnected APIs, and the experiences we are building for restaurants are focused on driving more connectivity
- The ability to establish and communicate clear priorities for yourself and others
- Effective communication and influencing skills
- An obsession with understanding and improving user experience. This obsession should and will extend into practical skills of UI/UX design and modeling. Be able to imagine it and then show it
- An intuitive grasp of the small but crucial details that elevate product functionality into compelling and even magical experiences for customers of different types
- The ability to build trust, respect, and empathy inside and outside of our organization, particularly with our customers
- Proven success developing strong working relationships across an organization. From the tech leads and the individual contributors who report to them, to the product managers and designers their reports work with, to their peers and the Executive Leadership Team

Omnivore is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our multifunctional team. You’ll work in a variety of languages and technologies, and on multiple parts of our platform including front-end and back-end components, but will spend about 80% of your day in the back-end. We're looking for a senior individual contributor that is looking to help lead our team to the next level!
Together, we’re pioneering a new era of restaurant experience and guest engagement such as ghost and virtual kitchen concepts, master menus across multiple locations and concepts, and immediately connecting restaurants with delivery service providers such as UberEats, Door Dash, Postmates, and others!

Omnivore is seeking a Director of Infrastructure Operations to join our growing team! This role will be responsible for managing a team of systems engineers and system administrators to create, deploy, manage and scale infrastructure across a wide range of hosting providers and in-house systems. This role is responsible for the uptime of all systems and services that host both customer and internally facing services developed by the company, as well as managing the costs associated with providing that uptime.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Establishing and enforcing best practices for day-to-day team operations, including but not limited to:
- On-call rotations

- Maintaining production, staging, and development environments in a large distributed system

- Communicating scheduled maintenance to customers, partners, and other business units
- Managing and clearly communicating infrastructure costs according to established constraints and business requirements; provide transparency to the breakdown of expenses across environments and applications
- Leading and managing a team of systems engineers and systems administrators, including routine 1:1 meetings, conducting performance reviews and guiding in goal setting and tracking
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree or self-taught individual with strong work experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in a technical operations leadership role
- Extensive experience working in and establishing a DevOps culture
- Intimate knowledge of AWS components and building blocks, such as EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, EKS, and ECS
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform

Omnivore is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team! This role will be responsible for the health and well-being of the production environment, implementation of new and existing components, and maintaining and modernizing the processes and methods used within our platform. They will be expected to interface with the rest of the operations, development and business teams, lead assigned projects, participate in peer mentoring and operate an always-on production environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Building and operating infrastructure systems and architecture using (including but not limited to) Terraform and Kubernetes on AWS
- Establishing and enforcing best practices around security, scalability, and service orientation with your team, and the software development teams
- Building and documenting frameworks within Terraform to enable software developers to innovate independently
- Maintaining and operating systems running on a variety of AWS constructs (EC2, ECS, Lambda, etc.) managed by a combination of chef and ansible
- Developing new infrastructure components and shared services, primarily in Go
- Streamlining CI/CD process and green/blue deployment techniques
- Optimizing resource usage to meet KPI targets
- Maintaining and evolving monitoring and notification systems
- Creating and sustaining documentation on new services, procedures, and requirements

Omnivore is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our multifunctional team. You’ll work in a variety of languages and technologies, and on multiple parts of our platform including front-end and back-end components. If you enjoy working on REST APIs, web apps, asynchronous message processing systems, and desktop applications, we would love to hear from you.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Designing, building, and maintaining production grade APIs and systems that power the Omnivore platform
- Digging into old systems to creatively problem solve without the guidance of documentation
- Setting personal direction while working effectively with engineers across all teams to create a cohesive product
- Building a great customer experience for restaurants and technology
"MUST HAVES" TO EXCEL AT THIS ROLE
- 3+ years professional development experience
- Comfortability working with multiple programming languages
- Strong foundation in Object Oriented Design
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical parties
- Team player mindset with capacity to work independently and take initiative
- Eagerness to keep up with evolving technologies
"EXTRAS" THAT STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD
- Exposure to Golang
- Proficiency with Javascript, and/or Python
- Experience with web and/or desktop applications
- Practice implementing REST APIs
- Ease working with one or more RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc)
- Comfortability with git
- Familiarity integrating with POS systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or self-taught individual with strong work experience
