The Solutions Architect is in charge of creating, designing, and implementing arrangements within Orion. The Solutions Architect will help to build new systems needed by the company and must be able to identify the business' current growth opportunities and future technological goals. They are also in charge of communicating the executive direction with other departments to implement new plans and goals.
- Participate in product development committee relating to business
- Act as the lead for the translation of business objectives and requirements into functional solutions.
- Prepare and document testing requirements as well as all test data, working with the teams Quality Assurance specialist
- Lead brainstorming sessions and identify areas for process improvements.
- Prioritize goals and objectives from the business leads and monitor the work of the technology department
- Design and develop technical solutions with the UI/UX developer
- Identify client and advisor-centric strategic initiatives for prioritization and approval
- Quarterback all client and advisor centered strategic initiatives while leveraging OPS department heads in conjunction with executive team
- Proactive outreach to third party partners of OPS business, including custodial partners, broker dealers, and registered investment advisors to identify shared opportunities to improve client and advisor experience holistically across various service providers.
- Work with National Sales Team members to identify key relationships that can be enhanced with tighter integrations.
- Articulate the problem statement and identify any challenges, roadblocks, and impediments with both the business and technical teams to ensure successful solutions are being architected.
- Participate in product development committee relating to business.
- Continually monitor the satisfaction of clients and advisors utilizing OPS through proactive surveying and outreach.
- Coordinate implementation of adopted product committee initiatives.
- Manage and improve each interaction of a client and advisor, over the entire lifecycle of the account, from prospecting, account opening, ongoing maintenance, periodic communications of account maintenance, account closing, etc.
- Provide periodic training to sales teams regarding product lines.
- Train Quality Assurance Specialist to work more closely with business teams.
- Create and manage “knowledge center” where all aspects of product lines are disclosed for internal training purposes.
- Attend Orion Advisor Technology user functions and board meetings.

As part of a product-driven organization, you'll play a big part in a small team of Product Designers owning core developments of the product—from inception to post-launch reflection. You will champion the design of delightful experiences that make it as simple as possible for thousands of users to adopt, use, and benefit from the Orion platform—helping us achieve our mission of enabling fiduciary advisors operationalize their vision for success.
The Orion Product Design team is a tight-knit, collaborative group of designers who love combining research, data insights, and feedback into a user-centered design process. Aside from becoming a member of the Product Design Team, you'll be a part of a Product Squad, where you'll work alongside Product Managers, Product Owners, and Developers to deliver solutions based on a specific area of focus.
You will
- Design and prototype multiple ideas quickly, sometimes with customers, to validate product directions.
- Have a deep understanding of typography, color, grid, and composition in pixel-perfect production mocks and prototypes.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders to deliver compelling UX solutions.
- Help lead projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches.
- Perform research with users of the Orion platform, which can include clients, staff, and more.
- Synthesize your research findings to develop user workflows, information architecture, and prototypes.
- Be actively involved in defining the strategy of the Orion Platform, thinking in terms of design systems, not just screens.
- Work with the design team on developing and stewarding the long-term UX strategy for our internal tools to make design a natural part in the way we build products with the developer teams.
You are
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years relevant design experience, ideally at a high tech, product-driven organization
- Experienced designing digital apps and systems; you have helped ship products before, ideally in the SaaS/B2B space
- Comfortable determining the appropriate design medium—whether that be a whiteboard drawing, a Figma design, or an HTML/CSS prototype
- Experienced in an agile environment, working with engineers and product managers to make great experiences as a team and quickly ship ideas
- Dedicated to solving problems of all sizes, for all kinds of users. You have experience validating your designs through user feedback.
- Focused on the impact of your work. You're experienced in tracking usage of the things you build, and using the data collected to verify its effectiveness.
- Aware of the importance of setting aside the time and space to learn and grow.
- An interest in fin-tech or investment products is a plus.

- Knowledge of REST JSON APIs, oAuth, SAML, and other integration approaches
- Be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing

The Senior Front-End Developer implements the user interface and engineers the Web and Mobile experience of our clients. This position is supported by Backend developers, who are responsible for server-side business application logic and providing the data feeding the visual elements.

- Collaborates with peer Front-End Engineers to create architecture patterns and best practices.
