Your profile:
- 2+ years of experience as freelancer or full-time employee
- You were at least once part of a for a medium/large scale backend application
- You bring a software engineering background and an entrepreneurial mindset
- You love patterns and interesting challenges, you love to evaluate solutions and to try them out
- You are hands-on, reliable and innovative implementing those solutions
- You have experience in how to handle a cloud tech stack: TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Mongo/MySQL, and perhaps with AWS (S3, SQS, RDS etc.), Heroku, Docker, ElasticSearch, ORM
- You can work on your own but you love to share your knowledge and work with the team
Your milestones:
- During your first month at Laserhub you will be familiar with code and database structure, you learned how our business operates and deploy first major task and/or database migration to production
- After 3 months you have a deeper understanding of our customers and you will be part in the development of an epic from scratch and take ownership of a technical solution. You will be participating in regular code reviews
- After 6 months our personas are your family and therefore you will be involved in the full lifecycle of a story from understanding the problem and refinement of a card to deployment, monitoring and analyzing

Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d)
Your mission:
In this position, you will work in our Engineering Team, focusing on the quality of our platform and the integrations of QA into our squad-teams. You will help us to improve our platform by designing and implementing automated tests and you will work with our Lead of QA on shaping our future.
- You love to break things and point out how to build things better
- You love to slice applications testing into different test suites and their corresponding flight heights
- Every minute of unnecessary manual work is driving you crazy
- You enjoy close collaboration with developers and QA engineers to improve and automate our test and release processes
- You have a good understanding for testability of code, applications, infrastructure
- You know that writing, maintaining and running tests is fundamental part of a modern engineering organization
Your profile:
- 2+ years of experience as freelancer or full-time employee in test automation
- You were at least once part of a team creating/maintaining a medium/large automated test suite
- Writing and maintaining tests on various layers (API, e2e, Performance, Security etc.) is your day-to-day work and passion
- You are comfortable working with a Java, JavaScript based tech stack
- You have worked with CI/CD pipelines for automated tests
- You know how to contribute to effective test scenarios during refinement sessions
Your milestones:
- In your first month at Laserhub you will start to gather knowledge about our domain and our platform by working with our manual and executing/maintaining our current automated tests
- Within 3 months here you will be a vital part of our Engineering Teams, taking part in our complete development process and helping to raise the quality of our platform
- Within 12 months you will be proud of having reduced our manual testing by a significant amount, work on improving our automated coverage further and upgrade our testing environment to match our growth

Lead Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d)
Your mission:
In this position, you will work in our Engineering Team, focusing on the quality of our platform and the integrations of QA into our squad-teams. You define the stack, the environment and the strategy as we seek to bring our current manual & automated testing to a new level.

- You love to define efficient processes and you know how to slice applications testing into different test suites and their corresponding flight heights

- You enjoy close collaboration with developers and QA engineers to improve and automate our test and release processes
- You have a strong understanding for testability of code, applications, infrastructure
- Writing, maintaining and running tests is not a necessity for you but a fundamental part of a modern engineering organizations
Your profile:
- 5+ years of experience as freelancer or full-time employee in test automation
- You are able to define a test strategy following our company mission and goals
- You were at least once responsible for a medium/large automated test suite
- You have experience in creating a test automation framework from scratch and how to scale it
- You have experience in guiding the execution as well as leading QA engineers
- You have experience in transitioning Engineering Departments from manual to automated testing
- Writing and maintaining tests on various layers (API, e2e, Performance, Security etc.) is your day-to-day work and passion
- You are comfortable working with a JavaScript based tech stack
- You are confident in setting up and maintaining local dev setup as well CI/CD pipelines for automated tests
- You know how to write effective test scenarios during refinement sessions
Your milestones:
- In your first month at Laserhub you will assess the current situation and start planning a transitioning strategy together with our Head of Engineering
- Within 3 months here you will implement new processes which improved our automated coverage and reduced our failure rate
- Within 12 months you will be proud of having reduced our manual testing by a significant amount, work on improving our automated coverage further and upgrade our testing environment to match our growth
