BlueGranite, a premier Microsoft partner with a hyper-focus on data and analytics in the cloud, is looking for a full-time Solution Architect with modern data platform and data warehousing expertise to join our growing firm. We have 65+ team members located across the U.S., from data architects to BI professionals and data scientists.

We're looking for architect-level candidates with at least ten years experience using Microsoft data platform technologies (SQL Server or Azure) who have a proven ability to drive business results with data-driven insights, while being comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams in both business and I.T. You'll be part of our world-class BlueGranite myPath coaching and mentoring program to help you advance your career as an elite data/analytics architect.

Skills & requirements

Specifically, we're looking for:

• 10+ years professional experience with data warehouse or modern data platform solutions featuring SQL Server or Azure
• Experience as a technical leader for modern analytics, modern data warehouse, data lake, or data lake house solutions
• Experience using SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and/or Azure Synapse Analytics
• Experience as a hands-on senior consultant and architect, leading project teams while managing client expectations
• Comfortable translating technical solutions into business-specific terms, and effectively communicating ROI
• Self-starter, self-managed, quick learner, problem-solver with a positive, collaborative, and team-based attitude
• Excellent communication skills and strong engagement with other team members and clients stakeholders
• Willingness to coach and mentor others to build their capacity and skills for data/analytics
• Degree in information technology, computer science, business, or engineering
• Ability to work remotely, at a home-office, typically 10% overnight travel to clients across the U.S. (post-pandemic)
• Authorization to work in the U.S., without the requirement for an employment visa or sponsorship
