Senior Web Developer JavaScript (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities
- Responsibility in conceiving, implementing, securing and distributing new features, including collecting and accounting for feedback from advanced users
- Participation in all phases of the agile software development process
- Regular performance observations and optimizations
- Taking responsibility as well as identifying and solving problems
- Regular monitoring and enhancement of the tools and processes used as well as the code quality
- Instructing and supporting younger colleagues as well as student trainees, and optimizing team processes and standards
Your profile
- You have a completed university degree or a similar training as an IT specialist.
- You already have several years of relevant professional experience of web development with JavaScript and sound knowledge of using at least one of the JS main frameworks (VueJS, Angular JS, React, etc.).
- You have outstanding knowledge of basic web technologies (JS, HTML, CSS).
- You have a deep understanding of common web technologies, architectures, the latest trends and new developments.
- You have excellent knowledge of Webpack, Highcharts, GoJS and SCSS.
- You have wide-ranging experience in agile software development.
- You have an outstanding understanding of UI/UX aspects of the business.
- You have a very good, technical command of spoken and written English.
- Your strengths include working in an autonomous and forward-thinking way, the ability to quickly understand concepts as well as interest in new technologies.
- You have far-reaching experience in the management of agile software projects with JIRA & Confluence or similar tools.
- You are motivated, committed and a team player, and you enjoy agile software development.

Senior Software Developer Java (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities
- Continued development of existing web applications in step with internal and customer requirements
- Developing, testing and integrating complete features in the highest quality
- Conducting automated tests using JUnit, Mockito and Rest Assured
- Regular performance observations and optimisations
- Active involvement in rolling out agile development processes
- Taking responsibility as well as identifying and solving problems
Your profile
- You have a completed university degree or a similar training as an IT specialist.
- You already have several years of professional experience in Java software development and wide-ranging experience of important frameworks and libraries, especially Spring Framework (Boot, Core, Security, JPA,…), Hibernate or comparable ORMs, Lombok or Guava
- You have excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming as well as the application of classic design patterns.
- You have wide-ranging experience of developing web applications based on the Spring framework.
- You have very good database-related knowledge (PostgreSQL, Oracle) as well as in-depth knowledge of working with Hibernate or a comparable ORM.
- You have very good knowledge relating to the implementation of REST APIs with JSON and specification using corresponding frameworks (RAML, API Blueprints, Swagger, etc.).
- You already have experience of quality assurance using unit and integration testing.
- You have a good, specialised command of spoken and written English.
- Your strengths include the ability to quickly understand concepts as well as interest in new technologies.
