THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT TIER
- Assessing software security vulnerabilities and overall risk within the TIER infrastructure, mobile applications, upcoming designs, and service integrations
- Performing threat modeling and effective reporting for identified concerns, and proposing valid solutions
- Providing recommendations for missing controls, improved detection and prevention of fraud & abuse, as well as the safety of customer data
- Collaborating with your TIER’s teams and external contributors to further the goals of information security and increasing awareness
- Taking ownership of projects, informing stakeholders, providing routine updates, and adapting to any impediments
- Bringing in new knowledge into the team and sharing your knowledge as well as mentoring or teaching the more junior colleagues
- Responding to emergency incidents with the highest priority and performing investigations, even if that means responding to an incident outside of your normal working hours
- Keeping a close eye on the changing landscape of information security by following feeds for new vulnerabilities and staying up-to-date, as well as occasionally attending conferences
- Thinking from an attacker’s perspective so that you can be one step ahead
YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5 years of experience in security engineering or a similar qualification
- Cloud security design and implementation within AWS or Google Cloud
- Being an Ethical Hacker, “pentester”, or similar with the enthusiasm to tinker and break functionality and process flows
- Experience with secure design and testing of mobile applications
- Passionate for following & encouraging the best security practices for secure design, operations, and awareness
- Approachable, informative, and assertive for all things security
- Proven experience with researching, deploying, and configuring security solutions, such as web application firewalls, IDS / IPS, and SAST / DAST
- Experience with hardware pentesting (big plus)
- Relevant security certifications, such as OSCP and CISSP (big plus)
- Full professional proficiency in English

The Role and your Impact at TIER
- Assessing company operations to determine compliance risks
- Reviewing the work of employees flagging for any compliance violations
- Updating the current & developing new organizational policies, procedures, guidelines, and baselines
- Creating and managing effective action plans in response to audit and compliance violations
- Taking on responsibility with developing and implementing an effective legal compliance program
- Acting in an advisory role with TIER’s management by providing detailed reports regarding the company’s compliance in accordance with laws & regulations
- Training employees, as well as creating and increasing awareness in the topic of the latest compliance regulations, processes and best practices
- Being a go-to person for any employee concerns about legal compliance and being able to calmly resolve such concerns
You'll fit great with these Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Management, IT compliance, or related field (any higher education degrees are a big plus)
- At least 3 - 5 years proven experience in a compliance officer or related role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced in risk management as well as industry principles & guidelines
- Knowledgeable about and experienced with both ISO27001 & GDPR
- Experience with Audits and specifically what it takes to pass an ISO27001 or GDPR Audit
- Good understanding of conducting gap analysis of current compliance state versus expected compliance state (The gap analysis should clearly identify and outline the short, medium and long term requirements for alignment with ISO27001)
- You have the gift of being able to translate and explain technical security and privacy requirements into compliance and legal requirements so that everyone understands each other
- Ability to act as a cross-functional bridge and collaborator between security, privacy, data protection and Legal team
- At least some knowledge on technical IT / cybersecurity compliance
- Compliance certifications such as CIPP/e, CCP, CCEP, CPCO, CRCM, etc. (big plus)
- Proven track record of participation in recently successful audits in previous companies (big plus)
- Full professional English proficiency
