Engooden Health is looking for a Senior IT engineer, who is looking to grow, learn and pivot in a fast-growing startup environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a technology team focused on providing the tools and services supporting our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate is someone with IT experience that is looking for more responsibilities and variety in their day to day. Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, implementation and support of best practice tools and cloud vendors to support our rapidly growing team and ensure the reliability of IT systems
- Build scalable processes supporting the provisioning, management and patching of workstations for our predominantly remote workforce organization (Windows and MacOS endpoints)
- Assist with operational monitoring and troubleshooting for systems supporting our business users
- Assign, track and manage software licenses and technology assets
- Support Ops, DevOps and security functions and tasks
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- 3-5 year's experience with Windows/MacOS device setup and management
- Experience supporting SaaS business applications, such as Google Workspaces and Office365
- Experience managing patches to organizational endpoints (jamf, etc.)
- Eastern or Central time zone working hours preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with task automation and scripting with Python, bash or similar
- Passion for learning new skills in the areas of infrastructure as code, configuration management, security and operational monitoring
Engooden Health is adding a Python Software Engineer to its engineering team in order to support the tremendous growth we have projected for 2022 and beyond. This is a remote position working with a small agile team of engineers located across the US and the Americas.
Responsibilities:
- Help design and build features in python for our intelligent workflow engine
- Attend daily Zoom standup meetings
- Follow our coding best practices to create clean, intuitive, testable code
- Review PRs and collaborate with teammates to help complete features for each release
- Investigate and address support issues reported by our users
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/equivalent field OR certification program with more hands-on experience
- At least 2-3 years of experience writing production-ready code
- At least 2 years of experience writing production-ready Python code
- Strong Computer Science Fundamentals
- Experience with a Git-based version control system
- Experience with unit test frameworks
- Good communication skills
- Strong preference for those with the following experience
- Java/Spring/Hibernate
- AWS
- Healthcare industry software development
- Processing and analyzing claims data
