These roles will join our Technical Operations Team in our Orlando, Florida headquarters and report to the VP, Engineering. The Positions are eligible to telecommute from a remote workspace. This role Senior DevOps Engineer requires a problem-solver with extensive experience in scripting and maintaining build environments. The ideal candidate has a broad understanding of Azure, Terraform and has significant experience working with development teams to deploy and support cloud-based applications. To succeed in this role, the incumbent must be comfortable working on an Agile team, as well as be a collaborative, great communicator who thinks performance, scalability, and standards first to mindfully assist the engineering team members within an Agile team environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage, build, configure, administer, operate, and maintain all components that comprise the DevOps environment
- Design and implement fully automated enterprise pipelines using a suite of DevSecOps tools: Azure, Terraform, Hashicorp Vault, AKS, Github
- Maintain and operate services and resources within multiple Cloud Service Provider environments
- Implement enterprise cloud security, including default governance and compliance standards
- Develop and implement automated scripting, ensuring compliance with organizational regulations

- 15 years of position related experience
- Demonstrated experience with Python
- Demonstrated experience with Linux

This role will requires extensive experience in NodeJS, Java, and well-honed problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate has a broad understanding of NodeJS, Java best practices and has significant experience working with development teams to deploy and support applications. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Deploy company products utilizing fast, agile, and reliable software development practices
- Identify design and infrastructure problems and create solutions in collaboration with other engineers in the engineering department
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality product that works well across both web and mobile environments
- Effectively communicate status, obstacles and challenges in the development process.
- Execute on a strong understanding of SaaS based Enterprise tool development
- Research, identify, and select the most appropriate frameworks to use with the product
- Write and maintain code for the backend company products
- Be accountable for code quality and writing tests (unit and integration)
- Perform code reviews and participate in suggesting and supporting coding best practices
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM
- 5 years of position related experience
- Demonstrated experience with NodeJs/Java
- Demonstrated experience with building APIs and services

As a Senior Application Engineer at OneRail, you join a team of talented engineers working together to transform final mile logistics and supply chain operations. Your role will be understanding customer use cases and determining the technical touchpoints, augmentations, and messaging required to deliver a successful launch. You will then work with the core development team to implement requirements and help to drive future configuration design.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Discover connectivity and other configuration and technical requirement changes needed for integration with customers
- Work as part of a team developing services using Agile development methods
- Build back-end services for communicating over REST APIs and enterprise messaging systems
- Working with the product and technical team to determine encapsulation of new requirements
- Code, test and operate Node.js based services
- Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM
- Previous working experience as a Node.js Developer for at least 3 years
- Experience working with clients and gathering client requirements
- Development experience in Typescript
- Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques
- Strong holistic systems design and analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience with distributed systems including message queues
- Experience working within CI/CD environments
- Azure experience a plus
