Responsibilities
- Contribute to engineering organization impact

Experience
- At least 8 years experience with React or Ruby on Rails
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Working familiarity of MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, Varnish, and Redis preferred but not required
- Solid understanding of Linux
- Experience with large and complex code bases, utilizing API design techniques to help keep code clean and maintainable

- Own and drive critical engineering programs and initiatives that span across the entire technology and services teams

Responsibilities:
- Design, architect, and code high-performing application solutions for Civiqs using industry best practices
- Building a deep understanding of our frontend and backend systems, infrastructure, cloud services, and dev ops automation tools
- Clearly and precisely communicate technical issues with other developers and non-technical stakeholders
- Quickly identify and address bugs, anticipate run time issues involving code changes that may affect extremely large data sets

- Work with stakeholders in Engineering and Product to define and execute on a vision around agile testing methodologies and continuously develop best practices to ensure high quality product releases in suitable time frames
- Lead and evangelize automation efforts
