What You’ll Do:
- End-to-end ownership of application architecture for web, API and other technical projects
- Review high-level product requirements for technical feasibility
- Distill high-level product requirements into technical recommendations (stacks, infrastructure, services)
- Assist in proposal construction through accurate time estimates & technical recommendations
- Participate in performing technical due-diligence on existing/legacy code-bases during integration with partners and startups
- Identify areas of code reusability across projects and across disciplines to develop, maintain and grow a repository of reusable source code in order to increase development velocity
- Create, maintain and update processes to allow bootstrapping of new technical projects as quickly as possible
- Assist in building out both the development architecture and underlying infrastructure for a multitude of web-based projects
- Load and performance test applications and identify areas for optimization across the entire technology stack
- Be a mentor to more junior developers working on your projects by setting development schedules, delegating tasks, and reviewing code
- Develop and enforce development standards and best practices for the engineering teams
- Collaborate with frontend, backend and mobile developers internally and client-side in regard to APIs and integrations with their underlying systems
- Collaborate with the various department leads (frontend, backend, mobile, QA) on setting up and maintaining auxiliary platforms to assist with development and deployment (continuous integration, automated deploys, etc.)
- Constantly research changes in the industry as they pertain to software best practices, new technologies and frameworks and everything in between
- Participate and provide feedback in brainstorming sessions and scoping meetings
- Work alongside various leads to provide guidance on immediate and long-term strategy towards application development
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- experience developing applications on the .NET framework using C# and other server-side technologies
- experience developing web applications using ASP.NET MVC and other web server based frameworks
- experience with MS-SQL creating efficient and effective data models in high transaction environments and writing complex queries
- experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript utilizing modern web frameworks (Vue.js is a plus!) and build processes
- experience developing web services using WebAPI
- experience modeling APIs using RAML or OpenAPI
- experience with automated builds and deployments (TeamCity, Octopus Deploy or similar technologies)

Cie’s QA team is made up of incredibly talented, inquisitive, fearless members who constantly push each other to be great. Together, you’ll be responsible for addressing any mobile or web application challenges or changes that might prevent accurate functionality of our user applications. We are what we produce and we’re counting on you to make sure we don’t miss a thing! What you’ll do:
- Be a leader. You’ll manage the QA team with two direct QA reports so take proactive approaches to testing and be able to own QA processes for a project you’ll be working on solely.
- Be flexible. You’ll have to be open to learning new processes and applying them to day to day activities as well as adapt to new and foreign technologies and spaces.
- Create comprehensive test cases and documentation. You’ll have to write test cases and determine what can be manually tested and what can be automated. Test Plans are created and maintained in Testrail, our test case repository.
- Design and build. You’ll have to write automated tests using Selenium for web applications and Appium or Visual Studio App Center for native mobile apps.
- Project testing. Ensure cross-browser compatibility across both desktop and mobile browsers as well as perform cross platform testing on iOS and Android.
- Have an attention to detail. You’ll need to have a hacker’s mentality. Find ways to break an application while giving thoughts on improving it.
- Be on with the data. You’ll need to learn our applications inside and out and improve test cases and update as features are added.
- Discover, report and validate. All defects need to be addressed and resolved through JIRA, our issue tracking system.
- Provide feedback. We want to hear what you have to say about product usability and improvement recommendations for overall quality.
- Collaborate. Work with our internal team to ensure clear, concise communication is being maintained between development, production and operations teams.
What you need to succeed:
- Detail oriented and sound judgement. We’ll count on you point out bugs and business-logic inconsistencies.
- Programming Language experience for test automation(C#, Java or JavaScript are preferred).
- Ability to write comprehensive, precise test documentation and test cases, as well as conclusive Bug tickets.
- Impeccable execution. You’ll need to close out multiple tasks while working with tight deadlines.
- Ability to be flexible and work across multiple projects at a moment’s notice.

- Have an overall focus on front-end development and a solid understanding of all layers of a web application while being aware of overlapping responsibilities shared with back-end technologies.
- Experience building self contained and reusable UI components.
- Strong experience with Sass, BEM and Bootstrap

- At least 2 years of experience working with Vue.js from start to deployment.
