We are currently looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our fast-growing Engineering team. About the Role

Socure is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our mobile engineering team and help us build its next generation. Leveraging your expertise in the field, you will help build the tools, methods, and framework necessary to help us build best in class mobile experience for our customers.

You will report directly to the VP of Engineering and will be expected to work closely with product engineering and infrastructure teams as well as product management teams, using your authority to influence changes. This is a key strategic leadership position, and you will be responsible for defining the strategy and roadmap for the platform that will power all product development in the coming years.

What You’ll Do:

• Build partnerships with onshore and offshore teams for all relevant projects
• Working closely with the product teams that need mobile development to understand their pain points and needs, use this to help define the short and long term roadmap for the platform
• Providing strategic leadership, and direction to the Mobile Engineering team
• Assisting and directing the design and implementation of our mobile SDKs and applications

Socure is hiring a Staff DevOps Engineer to play a driving role in shaping the foundational systems that Socure engineers use to develop and deploy their applications. We are looking for someone who is motivated by the opportunity to solve scalability, reliability and security-related challenges in infrastructure. This role will have a major impact on the infrastructure and scalability of a high-growth company, and your contributions will make a difference across the entire company.

This role can be based remotely in North America. You will report directly to our Senior Director of DevOps, Scott Pustay.

What You’ll Do:

• Build the frameworks, automation and tooling to enable a culture of quality within Socure, and automate all aspects of the infrastructure for scale
• Participate in high-level architecture of large-scale distributed systems, promoting security, reliability and scalability in development, QA and production environments
• Design, architect, and build a full end-to-end service mesh infrastructure with docker and Kubernetes. We have a great team to help, and you will be the one leading this effort
• Build out systems to support compute heavy workloads, such as machine learning
• Oversee and ensure the security of our cloud infrastructure, data, and internal services
• Be a technical leader and display leadership and vision for the future infrastructure at Socure, which may include pioneering new technologies/services to help meet growing challenges
• Collaborate with the Executive Team, Product Management, Architects, and existing engineering teams to design, develop, and publish software, processes, and workflows supporting a highly available, fault-tolerant SaaS platform

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience building infrastructure on cloud hosted systems (AWS)
• Repeated successes in building a container based infrastructure and integrating existing workflows into them (Docker, Kubernetes, service mesh)
• Prior experience in software development is ideal
• Experience with communication protocols, restful services, service-oriented architecture, distributed systems, and microservices
• A strong desire to automate the mundane; experience building processes and services that enable developers and enhance productivity
• Demonstrated expertise working with developers to understand their needs and ever changing challenges

We are looking for a talented Engineering Manager who will join our US engineering team to lead our data platform and ML platform initiatives. This role is open to individuals based within NYC or remotely within the United States.  Currently we are in the early days of designing a data platform and an ML platform to accelerate all our data operations and unlock the creation of our future ML-based products, and we’d love you to join us and lead the way.

This is a new role within the growing Engineering function, where you will be responsible for leading a team of talented professionals, assisting them to deliver complex technical solutions across a range of teams. The DS Automation team is responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines and core tooling to support the Fraud & Risk and Client Analysis teams at Socure. • You develop with an empathy for people and how they use your work, particularly with translating requests from data scientists and other stakeholders into requirements
• You have a strong python programming background and pride yourself on writing clean, testable code
• You have experience with containerization (Docker) and container-orchestration systems such as Kubernetes; experience with data workflow managers such as Drake, Luigi, or Airflow is a bonus
• You have experience with cloud ecosystems. Experience with AWS is a plus

What You'll Be Doing:

• You will partner with our globally distributed cross-functional teams (Product, Infrastructure, Engineering, Data Science) to conceptualize and develop new features and products in an Agile environment. 
• You will own end-to-end delivery of software components all the way to production, owning team features or systems. 
• You will be building web services and REST APIs at scale, and producing high-quality results with direct business impact.

As a UI/UX Design Lead at Socure, you will be responsible for helping us invent, design, refine and deliver the products that will enable the digital transformation we are striving towards. Reporting to our VP Product (Identity), you will spend your days sketching, designing, prototyping and detailing groundbreaking user experiences that drive more customer interaction and engagement. As the first role of its kind at Socure, this position will give you the opportunity to design custom interfaces using both UX and UI - with the freedom to always be utilizing your creativity to take our company to the next level. 

What You'll Do: 

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and tech teams, serving as a project leader within the design cycle
• Create innovative designs for our engineering teams to develop and expand product design systems
• Perform content analysis, task analysis, task modeling, and define user scenarios that will help drive design requirements
• Work with sketches, diagrams, maps, storyboards, and rapid prototypes
• Lead research using UX methods like user interviews, observation, competitive analysis and more to uncover latent needs and develop a thorough understanding of our users and their goals

• 5+ years of relevant experience designing products end-to-end, ideally for B2B applications
