The Technical Team Leader will provide technical leadership and will be responsible for planning and overseeing the development and support to the team.
Will coordinate technical aspects of work for the successful completion of one or more projects assigned. Responsible for project supervision, the supervision of the team (developers) during the project, and the coordination of system requests.

As Technical Team Leader your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the team:
    • Ensure the team has clear goals and expectations to do the job with excellence (OKRs, Roadmaps etc).
    • Guide and mentor developer.Be able to build excellence and autonomous teams
    • Identify team issues, resolving them and escalating if needed
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
    • Lead the planning release plans and set expectations for the delivery of new functionalities. Create real and achievable roadmaps.
    • Support, guide and challenge the R&D team on the future roadmap
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Identify technologies to use and creating the architecture of the solution
  • Connect with interesting projects
  • Break down the vision into roadmap and budget
    • Prioritize and create high level roadmap
    • Estimate the individual projects
    • Create a budget, identify and communicate needs in terms of resources
  • Plan & oversee the development
    • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
    • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
    • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
  • Report and being the point of contact for the project internally and externally (demos, presentations)

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Previous working experience leading teams and projects over 4+ years
  • Experience in Blockchain industry it´s a PLUS
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ownership and responsibility to achieve goals

  • Actively participate during the product design phases, analyzing requirements and proposing innovative and alternative solutions.
  • Collaborate on architecture definitions, always thinking of solutions that are scalable and secure.
  • Participate in front-end and backend development for the RIF Suite of Products.
  • Program high quality code, with emphasis on correctness of implementation.
  • Collaborate in the evolutionary maintenance of the RIF suite of products.
  • Collaborate with RIF Project Teams from conception to finished product, in all stages of the development life cycle.

You'd be a great candidate if you have

  • Bachelor or Master of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related careers.
  • Programming experience in at least two of the following languages: Typescript/Javascript, Golang, Java, Solidity, C++, Rust.
  • Experience in relational and non-relational databases (such as MongoDB)
  • Experience working with Test Frameworks (for example like Chai, Mocha).
  • Knowledge about software architecture principles, performance, and software engineer best practices.
  • Knowledge and experience using design patternsWillingness to learn decentralized technologies and work on all layers of the stack.
  • Experience with agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Advanced English Language Proficiency

Bonus points

  • Knowledge of Blockchain, Smart contracts, and Solidity.
  • Knowledge and experience in React and Redux.
  • Experience working by objectives with remote teams.
