Job Requirements

Required skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years experience developing web-based software
  • Strong understanding of C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Dapper
  • Solid understanding of SQL and SQL Server
  • Solid understanding of Javascript and a front end framework (React preferred)
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, XML
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

The Role

We are hiring a SQL Developer DBA to join our growing team. We are primarily a Microsoft stack; Windows servers, MSSQL, SSIS, SSRS, .NET applications and are running our platform in AWS. This team member would work alongside our platform engineering teams to develop, test, deliver, and maintain data systems across all environments as part of our growing SaaS platform. The goal of the position is to lead our database development and data center optimizations while keeping up with the day to day maintenance of the systems as we continue to grow. Your primary focus will be ensuring that our AWS environment is running at peak optimization and secondarily helping to lead our development staff with best practices and database code reviewing.

This position will report through our Duluth, MN DevOps team but is remote-friendly.
