Consultant, Enterprise Information Architect

You will:

• Create enterprise data strategy and associated reference architectures for assigned data domains;
• Analyze business requirements, as well as the industry trends, and translate them into high level information architecture designs based on best practices;
• Facilitate the alignment in defining business glossary, create enterprise level common information model, as well as define enterprise canonical data models; Capture, design and publish integrative and canonical views of enterprise data at multiple levels of abstraction;
• Define, design and document data services, interfaces and data flows with big picture awareness of data sources, interfaces and data flow across the enterprise; Identify and document a domain’s key information assets and associated high level data flows across/between domains;
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders and various IT data practice teams to define transitional and target state data architectures;

Essential Requirements

• Experience in Data or Information Architecture; proficiency in data modeling at all levels (conceptual, logical and physical) with Bachelor’s degree;
• Experience with at least one aspect of enterprise information management, such as data modeling, data governance, reference data management, master data management, meta data management, data integration, etc;
• Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture methodology, able to fit the data/information architecture in the overall enterprise architecture landscape and set the information management standards and directions at the enterprise level;
• Strategic visionary, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and able to see the future trends beyond current requirements;
• Critical thinking, problem solving, comfortable in making judgement call and able to clearly articulate the tradeoffs in proposed architecture design and solution;
• Excellent communication, has strong collaboration, presentation, and consulting skills, comfortable to work with large cross functional teams and able to effectively communicate the enterprise data architecture to business and technical stakeholders at various levels;

Product Manager Consultant - Data Science Operations and Platform

What you’ll achieve

Our data scientists & engineers are helping to shape our marketing strategy for a digital world. The algorithms we build touch all customer segments – consumer, small business, commercial & enterprise. Across the model life cycle we do things at scale, few examples:

1. Feature engineering – Our data sets are 900M x 2K columns. We use spark on Hadoop – we want to make it faster. We also want our team to share features and use the same pipe for train & inference – do we need a feature store?

2. Model train – We use Python & R and we train models on R740 - VMs each with 4 Tesla V100s GPUs. We want to reduce train time, how do we parallelize training for non-deep learning models?

3. Model inferencing – We deploy models in production through containers. Our model output (inferences) are used to drive batch / offline marketing campaigns / operations. We want enterprise app to access model through APIs. We need sub millisecond inferencing – what does the API stack looks like?

• Interact with business, platform and Data Science engineering teams to define and deliver new and innovative solutions and products, as well as drive improvements to existing data Science platform and products

• Be the Technical authority in the program guiding the Engineering teams and providing updates on development progress and technical issue resolution to the upper management for infrastructure related enhancements and issues for data Science teams.
• Define, communicate and measure success metrics for the customer engagement data science platform
• Proposes multiple potential solutions for complex or new problems or processes and makes recommendations as to which direction should be taken.
