Truepic is looking for an experienced product leader to join our team and own the core technology roadmap for our award winning camera technology, Controlled Capture. In this role, you will be responsible for owning and driving the development of our camera SDK, PKI architecture, and a suite of image analysis and processing tools. As a member of our product team, you’ll be working closely with teammates across the entire company to create solutions and measure impact. You'll make decisions based on aggregated data as well as qualitative feedback from clients, their customers, and our internal feedback loops. The decisions you make, and the work you produce as a part of the product team will dramatically impact a businesses ability to make critical decisions based on authentic photos and videos.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Own delivery of product initiatives and releases for our core technology SDK, reference apps, API services, PKI architecture, and all corresponding documentation
  • Prioritize and sequence product initiatives against company goals
  • Perform market research and analysis
  • Work with sales and customer success teams to estimate ROI on product initiatives
  • Identify key success metrics, analyze the results of product changes, and communicate results and next steps to cross functional team members
  • Assess and validate product priorities and set strategic direction to deliver on customer needs and key metrics
  • Own and manage the product backlog, balancing dependencies across multiple platforms
  • Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements, and constraints for product initiatives and releases
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to iterate and improve the product
  • Communicate development status back to the rest of the organization
  • Analyze and review product and user interaction data

You will succeed in this role if you:

  • Natural leadership instincts with proven ability to innovate on mobile SDKs, or integrated technology products
  • Demonstrated track record of driving product development through each step in product development: research, initial concept, requirements gathering, development/deployment planning, implementation, launch, testing, analysis, and iteration
  • Ability to work effectively with engineering to set realistic goals and stay on track through development
  • Technical acumen, with the ability to translate complex concepts to a wide variety of individuals
  • Strong user empathy
  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Organized with an attention to detail
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding of user experience design principles
  • Prior experience at a startup building enterprise software & technology is a strong plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience on remote teams is a plus

We are looking for a Software Quality Engineer with Mobile (Android and iOS) and SaaS Web Application testing experience to help us continue to grow and expand our successful and expanding Truepic Vision enterprise software product and the potential of its core technology. This role will be primarily focused on 1) establishing an automated test framework to validate the security, quality, reliability, and performance of core components, 2) manually testing Web and Mobile components with a critical and creative eye to ensure the absolute best experience for our clients and their users, and 3) partnering with all members of our Engineering Department to continue to raise the bar and integrate the latest in software quality industry concepts, technologies, and processes. The Truepic Vision product is used by a growing and diverse array of enterprise clients and this role will have a high impact on our company top and bottom line from day one!

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and evolve test automation suites, tools, and services to ensure that every software release of Truepic’s core technology offering are consistently deployed with confidence
  • Some manual integration testing of core Web and Mobile components with a critical and creative eye to ensure the absolute best experience for our clients and their users
  • Partnering with all members of our Engineering Department to continue to raise the bar and integrate the latest in software quality industry concepts, technologies, and processes
  • Documenting test cases and results
  • Identify key quality metrics and communicate the results to a cross-functional team
  • Approving new software releases for deployment to the Production environment and available to our clients
  • Debugging of customer support questions and inquiries to help identify gaps in existing test suites
  • Troubleshooting of customer issues to drive towards root cause identification and resolution

You will succeed in this role if you:

  • Have 5+ years experience in SaaS web and mobile quality engineering
  • Understand security, quality, reliability, and performance best practices in the testing of modern Mobile and SaaS software platforms and the core technology components within.
  • Have built an API-focused automated test suite
  • Have an excellent work ethic
  • Are able to connect and communicate effectively in a remote-first work from home environment
  • Comfort with a fast paced and fully-remote engineering environment
  • Have a creative eye to quickly identify security, quality, reliability, and performance issues before software is released to Production
  • Are able to accomplish complex quality engineering tasks independently
