Job Summary
ActiveProspect is seeking a Senior Development Operations Engineer to help operate and maintain our SaaS products. You’ll be working on our DevOps team to collaborate on developing and maintaining tooling to improve our infrastructure automation and deployments in the cloud. You’ll get the opportunity to use exciting technologies to build and optimize our platform that services millions of requests per second.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop tooling to enable product development teams to build and deploy software as quickly and efficiently as possible
- Partner with other engineers to identify the optimal cloud infrastructure, networking and storage design for each solution
- Collaborate daily with fellow team members to drive best practices and identify innovative strategies for successful delivery
- Own all information compliance and security policies, SOC II testing, and remediation
- Manage credentials and permissions, and ensure the security and health of our systems by monitoring and preventing vulnerabilities
- Identify, recommend, and implement system improvements to reduce infrastructure costs
- Participate in on-call rotation to ensure production’s system availability is 100%
Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years experience operating large-scale customer-facing production environments with a focus on uptime and service quality
- Deep proficiency working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Gruntwork)
- Strong knowledge of Configuration Automation (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt)
- Familiarity implementing a successful CI/CD workflow across different teams’ needs (GitHub Actions, TravisCI, Jenkins, CodePipeline)
- Experience with Linux operating systems internals and administration
- In-depth knowledge of service monitoring, log interpretation and collecting metrics
- Understanding of Git/Github and typical versioning workflows

Job Summary
As a UI Engineer at ActiveProspect, you'll play a vital role in the ongoing design and development of the LeadConduit web application. We're a small team where every engineer has a say in the direction of our products, company, and culture. You will help us decide what we build and how we build it. We're looking for the kind of engineer who notices every detail but doesn't lose sight of the big picture.
Core Job Functions:
- Work closely (and in constant communication) with a team of front-end and back-end engineers to build customer-facing interfaces in Vue.js and ES6+
- Migrate legacy AngularJS code to Vue.js
- Ship clean, well-tested code to production on a weekly basis
- Participate in planning and estimating to iterate and continuously improve the product.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Expert JavaScript, HTML, and CSS knowledge
- Strong experience with Vue.js
- Strong experience with one or more front-end testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha)
- Familiarity with responsive design and implementation
- Familiarity with AngularJS
- The willingness to make your case in design and development decisions
- The ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues alike
