Scalable Path is looking for a Remote Full Stack Drupal Developer with React Experience to join the team and work on a client project. This is a remote, part-time position (approximately 4 hours/day). The client is also open to candidates who are available full-time.

CLIENT COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
The client is a small expanding web development company. They specialize in Drupal site development leaning heavily on custom PHP functionality/modules and themes. They are expanding into mobile development. Typical clients are businesses where the clients website is the business or is at least mission-critical.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities:
- Tasks will include working on several different website projects, some will be small changes, others large implementations or D7 -D8/9 migrations.

Desired Experience:
- 3+ years of Drupal-specific experience.
- Worked with Drupal 7, 8 & 9.
- Understanding of Drush and Drupal Console.
- Comfortable with template (tpl.php) and twig theming.
- Should be knowledgeable on Drupal coding standards, and OPP best practices (DRY, SOLID, etc).
- Candidate should be a well-rounded Drupal site builder/developer.
- Strong English communication skills are a must.

RELATIONSHIPS - WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH:
Currently, there are 4 other developers on the team. Some work will be individual, some with the team. The client is in the America/New York (-04:00) EDT time zone.

We have a pretty full workload for at least the 6-8 weeks, so hours can be higher than 20 during this time, if available.

Role Profile

This is primarily an internal-facing role at a leading software provider to the insurance restoration industry. You will be constantly drawing on both your technical and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for working with many different employees, including developers, other members of the development operations team, the VP development and the CTO.

Responsibilities

Throughout the course of your job, you will be responsible for a diverse and mission-critical range of tasks, such as:

• Perform deep-dive investigations into the root cause of complex issues potentially involving the interaction of low-level operating system components, cloud services, and networking
• Develop end-to-end features and fixes that promote system stability
• Stay in contact with the support team to be apprised of current issues
• Advise development leadership to help triage and prioritize new issues
• Help to document and build corporate working knowledge on our operating procedures
• Stay in contact with the development team to maintain a mutual understanding of the impact of known and new performance issues, new changes, and how and where they will take effect
• Research, plan and develop ways to make our analytics dashboards and error monitoring more meaningful and improve their signal-to-noise ratio
• Research, plan and develop ways to ensure that our alerts are being sent on meaningful events

Requirements

Reporting

This role reports to our VP Development.

Interview Process

You will configure, deploy and maintain all server-based components for multiple product groups and production environments with the organization.
