Scalable Path is looking for a Lead React Native Developer with React Web Skills to join the team and work on a client project. This is a remote, full-time position.
CLIENT COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
The client is a technology company developing products for safe and fast health services using video calls. They are doctors, psychologists, designers, and technologists who are working together to provide the best possible experience for patients.
Over 100,000 patients have used their services, now in two markets (Norway and Denmark - with plans to expand).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The client has an existing React Native (non-Expo) app in the Apple and Google Play stores that allows patients to have one-on-one video consultations with doctors and psychologists. They are looking for a new Lead React Native Developer to take over the responsibility for their mobile app and add features. Although React Native development is their primary need, they also need to build a web-based version of the application, so if you have strong web frontend skills in React this would be a huge plus. Both the React Native app and the React web app will consume the same existing GraphQL API that is maintained by an existing team of developers.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and publishing their mobile app for patients
- Developing a front-end web application for patients
- Developing a front-end web application for doctors and psychologists
Desired Experience:
- Experience with video communication in React Native would be great (client is using https://www.vonage.com)
- Experience with security and handling of sensitive health data is important
Because of health data security regulations, the client prefers to work with developers in the European Union.
