WAS SIE ERWARTET
- Entwurf, Entwicklung, Implementierung, Wartung und Betrieb von technischen Lösungen für die Integration zwischen Standardsoftware (insbesondere SAP) und internen sowie externen Anbietern auf Basis von Apache Camel / Camel-K, Apache Kafka und Spring Boot
- Anwendung, Weiterentwicklung und Entwurf von Best Practices, Standards und Richtlinien der Integrationsarchitektur
- Entwurf von technischen Spezifikationen zur Umsetzung von Integrationsszenarien in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Entwicklern der umgebenden Systeme sowie Prozessberatern
- Bereitstellung von hochwertigen Softwarekomponenten und -services in Übereinstimmung mit den Richtlinien zu Sicherheit, Skalierbarkeit und Langlebigkeit
- Teilnahme an Statusmeetings im Rahmen der Team- und Projektorganisation sowohl nach klassischen als auch agilen Methoden
- Überwachung von Integrationsszenarien im produktiven Betrieb sowie Analyse und Behebung von in der Produktion auftretenden Fehlern
- Durchführung von Peer-Code-Reviews zur Sicherstellung und Weiterentwicklung von Qualitätsstandards
WAS SIE MITBRINGEN
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der (Wirtschafts-)Informatik oder Ingenieurwissenschaften oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung
- Einschlägige Berufserfahrung als Spezialist in der Entwicklung von Schnittstellen auf Basis Spring Boot, Apache Camel / Camel-K und Apache Kafka, einschließlich Webservice-Entwicklung, SOAP/REST sowie ereignisgesteuerten Publish/Subscribe-Modellen
- Praktische Erfahrung in allen Phasen der Softwareentwicklung (Analyse, Konzeption, Realisierung, Test und Support) in Integrationsprojekten sowie im Betrieb von Integrationsszenarien unter Einsatz von Prometheus, Wavefront und Loggly
- Grundlegende Kenntnisse von Container Runtimes, vorzugsweise Kubernetes, sowie von Apache Avro Schem, Google Cloud Endpoints und Google Apigee von Vorteil
- Hohes Maß an Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit, selbständige und verantwortungsbewusste Arbeitsweise sowie kundenorientiertes Auftreten und Handeln

Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a software engineer passionate about Linux, cloud infrastructure, pipelines and automation, and open source software..
You will work closely with Amazon, Microsoft, Google and other world-class cloud partners to make Ubuntu the best platform there is in the clouds. Your time will be split between build system development (using Python, Jenkins and shell), implementation of cloud-related features within Ubuntu Server itself, operation of our continuous delivery pipelines, and direct partner engagement. You will strive to automate the delivery of existing and new Ubuntu products applied to all modern workloads from web servers to GPU-aided AI for servers, VM’s and containers, and integrate our products with cloud native services.

What you'll do
- Build automated, highly reliable image delivery, testing and publication pipelines
