5. Skills & requirements

1) A very solid understanding of Objective-C

2) Some knowledge of Swift

3) Optional, but nice to have: C++ knowledge, so you can integrate audio engines with new front-ends written in Obj-C

4) Any experience in CoreAudio and/or AVFoundation would be a big plus

This senior software engineer will be a part of a small development team rapidly building out and scaling a new and exciting product suite. This engineer will become a subject matter expert on our application’s backend technology and be a major contributor to the product’s success. The product team at Property Meld is a remote-work organization. We require 4 hours of overlap time, daily, with the Mountain Time Zone. The position is 99% remote, with the following non-pandemic exceptions: Once a year, the total company gets together for a week of getting to know each other and to better understand the big picture of the company and how we work in each department and role. Two times per year the product team gets together in the same physical location to get to know each other better and work through interesting challenges together. The Solutions Engineer is an individual contributor responsible for responsible for leading the functional and proof of value activities of our sales campaigns alongside the broader Sales Team. This involves understanding prospect's unique business requirements and the ability to respond with a compelling, value-driven vision to the prospect C-suite. The Sales Engineer will deliver value-based presentations to prospects and assist them with assessments of our platform. Additionally, they will work with our R&D and Products teams to incorporate client feedback to shape the future of our platform. To accomplish this, they should have a strong desire to set the vision, translate business objectives into functional recommendations, develop the business case, and lead a successful outcome. They will act as a trusted advisor to our prospects throughout the engagement to ensure results are delivered.  

The ideal deal candidate has a broad technical background. The role does not require an operator's depth of expertise. A Solutions Engineer with a multi-disciplined theoretical approach to resolving technical hurdles based on broad enterprise technical experience will excel in this role. 

What You’ll Accomplish:

• Lead end-to-end Presales campaign
• Develop strong value-based presentations
• Deliver RFxs, custom demos, and proofs of value
• Perform tailored, high-level demonstrations of business value
• Design high-level solutions to fit client needs during the deal process
• Contribute to knowledge sharing inside and outside of your team
• Become conversant in the broader RPA landscape

What You’ll Need:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a client-facing pre-sales or business-driven professional services role
• Worked with data before (SQL, BI)
• Working knowledge of PC environments, Servers, DBs, Citrix, RDP
• Must have some technical chops
• BS in Engineering preferred
